Abstract: The paper presents a group of monuments to members of the Serbian and Yugoslav Kara'or'evic royal dynasty, which were put up in Slovenia between the two wars and have been preserved to this day. In the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, later the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, as part of a project to strengthen the common Yugoslav identity and loyalty to the monarchy, hundreds of memorials were unveiled to Kings Peter I and Alexander I. During the occupation in World War II and the establishment of the socialist government after the war, most of these monuments, which became a relic of a bygone era, were removed and destroyed. Nevertheless, in recent decades, research has made it clear that many dynastic monuments have been fully or partially preserved, even in Slovenia. The article catalogs monuments in Slovenia that are partially or fully preserved in their original location or in museum and private collections.
