Study of the Role of Social Infrastructure in the System of Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The article examines approaches to understanding the essence of social infrastructure as a factor in ensuring the well-being of the local population. It is noted that the quality of social infrastructure in rural areas is a complex concept that combines the characteristics of the functioning of its entities. Within the framework of various approaches to the development of social infrastructure (humanistic, practice-oriented, systemic approaches are distinguished), the basic foundations of the activities of its entities are determined. The set of factors that form the general vector of territorial development also affects the quality of the functioning of social infrastructure. When placing entities on the territory of a municipality, the demographic characteristics of the municipality and the remoteness of a number of settlements should be taken into account. Public-private and municipal-private partnerships are effective tools for the development of social infrastructure.
