Abstract: This study explored the challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in implementing batch traceability in industrial production, focusing on technological and operational barriers. Batch traceability is essential for ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance, especially in sectors such as food, pharmaceutical, and automotive. The study aimed to analyze how emerging technologies like blockchain, RFID, IoT, and Big Data can optimize this process, highlighting key obstacles faced by SMEs, such as high costs, lack of standardization, and infrastructure limitations. The research suggested the need for more accessible integration models to enable the adoption of these innovations.
