Abstract: The title compound was synthesized using Pt-catalyzed hydrosilylation of octasilane POSS and allyl 1H,1H-perfluorooctyl ether. The purity and structure were determined by NMR (1H, 13C, 19F, 29Si), and MALDI TOF-MS.
