Abstract: The aviation industry represents the degree of industrial development of a country, and as the master of advanced science and technology, it is an important engine for industrial development. Today, with the rapid development of science and technology and the transformation and upgrading of the global manufacturing industry, the establishment of a complete intelligent manufacturing system, the realization of a high degree of integration of IT and industrial technology, and the promotion of industrial upgrading have become the development trend and direction of the aviation manufacturing industry. Starting from the top-level design, this paper will interpret in detail the characteristics of the production organization mode of the COE workshop of the airport casing of China West Airlines. The study takes this as an example to discuss the current problems in the construction of digital production lines and the improvement of industrial manufacturing capacity. It also elaborates on the Internet of Things technology, digital twin technology, the interconnection between the Internet of Things and industrial big data in the manufacturing industry, and how AI empowers the manufacturing industry.
