Study on the interference method of wire current measurement based on TMR array sensor

Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: The utilisation of arrayed circular structure current sensors has become increasingly prevalent within the domain of current detection, owing to their distinct advantages, including their compact size, cost-effectiveness and high sensitivity. In extant studies, this type of sensor has been examined on wireless, long, straight wires. However, in practice, due to the absence of magnetic field shielding functionality in the magnetic core structure, the stray magnetic field generated by the magnetic field sources located at the periphery of the ring array (particularly the neighbouring long, straight current-carrying wires) can substantially interfere with the measurement accuracy. The present study focuses on the influence of the magnetic field of the outer long straight conductor on the measurement accuracy. Firstly, the present measurement model under external magnetic field is analysed on the basis of an array current sensor. Subsequently, a current correction method under an external magnetic field is proposed with a view to enhancing the measurement accuracy of the sensor. Finally, the validity of the method is confirmed through simulation experiments. The simulation results demonstrate that this method can significantly enhance the measurement accuracy.
