Saberes prácticos del profesorado universitario: un estudio en la Universidad La Salle (México)

Abstract: This text attempts to access and understand the practical knowledge of university professors within the classroom context, based on their experience in the mediation of workshop and laboratory-type subjects in the disciplines of Engineering, Chemistry and Architecture. The article is organized from a deductive approach in four blocks, first the knowledge is characterized with emphasis on practical knowledge, then the knowledge mentioned, is analyzed based on critical incidents and interviews from a qualitative methodology as constitutive elements in the formation of persons in higher education. The third block is an approach to the results and discussion to close up with the final reflections that give evidence of the need to recognize experience, adaptability, communication and the search for information as elements of the practical knowledge of university professors.
