Abstract: The concept of Citizen Science is related to the public participation of non-professionals and scientists in the collection and analysis of data, collaborating in the development of scientific knowledge. In the context of Science Education in Evolution, Citizen Science can be used to contribute to Scientific Literacy through projects that work on evolutionary themes in the classroom. Thus, this research sought to analyze Citizen Science projects with evolutionary themes available on the internet, and their relationship with learning, in addition to analyzing the levels of citizen participation in Citizen Science projects and the potential learning objectives of evolution in the projects. The results were organized and discussed from the perspective of Content Analysis proposed by Bardin (2016), constructing Context Units for the methodological path and analysis of the results. We identified that few projects worked exclusively on evolutionary themes, and that there was no project that reached the maximum levels of participation and learning objectives. Therefore, it is necessary that Citizen Science in Evolution projects are better planned so that they reach a higher level of Scientific Literacy in Evolution
