Dogmática constitucionalizada del derecho del consumidor

Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: The reform of the Argentine Constitution in 1994 represented a significant advance in the protection of consumer and user rights, strengthening the legal framework of consumer protection law. This reform brought about key modifications to the Constitution, raising the status of consumer protection norms and ensuring greater prominence in the legal order. The 1994 constitutional model influenced the consolidation and strengthening of laws in this area, underlining the institutional commitment to consumer protection. Thus, 30 years after its reform, the National Constitution grants solid support, hierarchy and importance to consumer protection rules within the Argentine legal system, guaranteeing their effectiveness in safeguarding rights against abusive and unfair practices.
