Abstract: N-methylcantharidimede (3) was synthesized by two different methods. The structure was confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HRMS. The anti-hepatoma activities in vitro of the synthesized compounds were evaluated against HepG2 cell by the MTS assay. The biological results demonstrated that compounds 1, 4 showed good anti-hepatoma activity and 2, 3 showed rarely anti-hepatoma activity.
