Abstract: Recent studies conducted around the world point to air pollution by chemical or organic particles emitted as a result of human activities. Exposure to these atmospheric pollutants is thought to present risks to human health in general, and disorders of the reproductive function in particular. The aim of this study was to assess the effects of exposure to atmospheric endocrine disruptors on the male reproductive function of the Wistar rat. It was carried out thirty (n=30) rats 08- to 09-week-old rats with an average weight 200 ± 5 g. allocated in three lots of ten (n=10) and exposed in three sites in the city of Ouagadougou for six months. the animals had unlimited access to water and feed. At the end of the experiment the animals were autopsied. Blood was collected,06 organs (Testicles, seminal vesicles, epididymis, adrenal glands, liver and prostate were removed and weighed. 03 hormones were measured (testosterone, FSH and LH). This study will help to relieve the population regarding the knowledge of the causes following the effects of these substances.
