Abstract: The article presents the results of a comparative study of attachment styles and life satisfaction in pregnant women (n = 30) and women intending to terminate pregnancy (n = 30). Research tools: questionnaires ‘Experience of Close Relationships’ (ECR-R), ‘Life Satisfaction Index’ (LSIA). Pregnant women who are going to have a baby are more satisfied with their lives compared to women who want to terminate the pregnancy; аnxious and avoidant attachment styles are negatively correlated with life satisfaction and its components (interest in life, positive self-esteem). In the group of women intending to terminate pregnancy, there are no correlations between the attachment style and life satisfaction.
