Automatic Temperature Control System in the Iron Based on RFID Technology

Abstract: The article showcases an innovative design for an RFID-integrated iron, which is part of the broader concept of the Internet of Textile Things (IoTT). The goal of the project was to develop a device capable of automatically reading information from RFID tags sewn into fabrics and dynamically adjusting the ironing temperature according to the type of fabric. The paper describes the design of the device, including the PCB design, the heating power control circuit and the solutions used to minimize electromagnetic interference.
