A Computational Framework for IP Co-Creation: SnowNLP-Based Sentiment Analysis and LDA Topic Modeling of the Nezha Franchise
Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: With the emergence of Ne Zha 2 (2025) in the film market, its continuous breakthroughs have made Ne Zha a representative of China's local cultural IP. This article collects comments from the Chinese short video platform Bilibili from four dimensions: character image and identity, cultural resonance and symbolic meaning, visual and technical expression and narrative expectations, and sequel logic. It combines sentiment analysis (SnowNLP) and theme modeling (LDA) to explore the interactive mechanism between audience emotions and narrative IP development strategies in Ne Zha 2. Based on this framework, a "user-driven IP value co-creation model" is introduced to explain the role of audience participation in shaping IP symbolism, emotional engagement, and commercial potential. This provides a theoretical framework and empirical support for media narrative research and the development of Chinese local IP.
