Research Status and Trends in the Field of Digital Supply Chain—A CiteSpace-Based Bibliometric Analysis
Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: This study conducted a visual knowledge mapping analysis of 500 digital supply chain articles indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection database from 2014 to 2023 using the bibliometric software CiteSpace, aiming to explore current research status, hotspots, and trends. The findings reveal that digital supply chain research is in a rapid development phase. Within the WoS database, China demonstrates the highest publication output. Current research hotspots primarily focus on three aspects: driving factors, implementation mechanisms, and impact effects of supply chain digitalization. International databases show abundant scholars in this field, yet collaborative networks require strengthening. The integration and application of digital technologies in supply chains exhibit broad development prospects. Emerging research frontiers include digital transformation in manufacturing and new retail supply chains, supply chain digital simulation, and evaluation frameworks for supply chain digitalization.
