Energy-efficient electromagnetic control system of sodium ion heating solutions

Abstract: This study presents a low-energy power control method for industrial heating processes, based on the resonance heating of water molecules at 2.45 GHz. Conventional approaches often rely on applying maximum power, which can lead to inefficiencies, particularly when heating materials with varying dielectric loss coefficients. To address this, we first analyze microwave heating of water containing sodium chloride ions, establishing a physical-mathematical model that defines the relevant thermal and dielectric variables. The model is extended to include common industrial additives, such as potassium chloride, iodine, and fluorides, which are assumed to be isotropically and uniformly distributed in the heated medium. An experimental platform was developed to minimize external interferences, allowing for the accurate measurement of heating efficiency and power consumption across various compositions. Results demonstrate that the proposed adaptive control method reduces total power consumption by approximately 11 % while maintaining the same target temperature compared to conventional heating strategies. These findings highlight the potential of resonance-based control to improve energy efficiency in industrial heating applications. The controller diagram is shown as Figure 3. This rigorous and comprehensive experimental design enables the platform to accurately detect variations in microwave heating within saltwater of varying concentrations and supply detailed data for analysis.Logic flow chart based on model segmentation control.
