Abstract: The reported incidence of isolated ductus arteriosus is 0.7%, with it usually occurring in the third trimester of pregnancy.1 There have been only two reports on HDlive Flow features of isolated tortuous ductus arteriosus of a fetus.1,2 In this report, we present markedly tortuous ductus arteriosus of a fetus diagnosed with HDlive Flow in the third trimester of pregnancy. case descrIptIonA 31-year-old pregnant Japanese woman, G1 P0, underwent routine third-trimester fetal screening, and tortuous ductus arteriosus was suspected at 29 weeks and 2 days of gestation (Figs 1 and 2).HDlive Flow revealed spatial reconstruction of markedly S-shaped tortuous ductus arteriosus at 29 weeks and 6 days of gestation (Figs 3 and 4).Blood flow velocity of ductus arteriosus (125 cm/second) was within the normal range (Fig. 5).Subaortic left brachiocephalic vein was also suspected (Fig. 6).Cross-examination using color Doppler and HDlive Flow revealed markedly S-shaped tortuous ductus arteriosus at 31 weeks and 6 days of gestation (Figs 7 and 8).Cardiac anomalies and failure were both absent. At 36 weeks and 4 days of gestation, the mother vaginally delivered a viable female newborn weighing 2,485 gm, with a height of 45.2 cm.Apgar scores were 8 (1 minute) 1,
