Abstract: The study is devoted to the issues of project management implementation in the agro-industrial complex, from the standpoint of ensuring the sustainability of large and small agricultural producers. The scientific problem, which the study is aimed at solving, is associated with the insufficient development of methodological provisions for the application of project management mechanisms to solve problems facing large and small agricultural producers. The purpose of the study is to supplement and improve the theoretical and methodological provisions for the application of project management in the agro-industrial complex, in ensuring the sustainability of large and small agricultural producers. The novelty of the study is revealed by the provisions characterizing the main mechanisms of project management and their projection on the agricultural sector of economics and management, as well as the study of the relationship between the tools of project management and the goals of large and small agricultural producers.
