Abstract: The article considers the main directions of forecasting and strategic planning of the agroindustrial complex. The predictive analytics on the volume of production and selling prices of agricultural products are analyzed. The place of forecasting in the system of state subsidies and other support measures for agriculture has been determined. The key provisions of the main Russian and foreign forecasting tools are formulated.
