Abstract: Leiomyomas are uncommon mesenchymal tumors arising from smooth muscle fibers, their appearence in the prostate is rare. Imaging of the leiomyomas in the MRI presents classically with a homogeneous mass with an isointense signal relative to the muscle on a T1-weighted image and a slightly hyperintense signal on a T2-weighted image. Our case presents a young man, with unusual imaging findings compared to the other cases.
