Association between High-Risk Human Papillomavirus Genotypes and Cervical Cytology Results in the Health Examination Group

Abstract: GLOBOCAN 2022 report, cervical cancer had an age-standardized incidence rate (ASR) of 14.1 per 100,000 women globally.Asia accounted for approximately 60% of all new cervical cancer cases worldwide [1].Early screening plays a crucial role in health examination groups, providing opportunities to detect cervical cancer in its early, treatable stages.Variations in diagnosis, screening protocols, and treatment strategies across regions contribute to differences in incidence rates.Nevertheless, cervical cancer remains a major burden among female cancers globally.Given the strong correlation between screening participation and cervical cancer incidence, early detection of HPV is especially important.A recent study provides moderate evidence that cotesting with HPV and cervical cytology reduces cervical cancer
