Abstract: Background. The article examines the level of awareness of physical education and sports professionals regarding aspects of providing first aid. The authors conducted a comprehensive review of modern Russian and foreign scientific research to assess the current state of knowledge in this area. Main content. The study emphasizes the first aid training importance for physical education and sports professionals, as they are often the first to respond to emergency situations during training and competitive activities. Conclusions. The authors identify gaps in the existing literature and emphasize the need for further research to increase awareness and readiness to provide effective first aid among such individuals.
