Type: article
Abstract: A new species of Passiflora belonging to the subgenus Decaloba sect. Decaloba, from Colombia in the Andean region is described and illustrated from living material and herbarium specimens. Passiflora dulimae is similar to P. alnifolia, P. bucaramangensis, and P. micrantha, and can be recognized mainly by its obovate to ovoid leaves (2‒3-lobed, mucronate) with an angle between lateral lobes of 68º–84º, 7–10 laminar ocelli in the middle of the lateral veins, flowers 22–27 mm diam., outer filaments of corona subdolabriform, dilated at apex (dark green, light green to yellowish apically with two purple bands), inner corona filaments entirely purple, operculum dark green, androgynophore greenish, and ovary densely hirsute. The new species is endemic to the margins of cloud forests at elevations between 2,600 and 2,900 m in the municipality of Ibagué. It is classified as Critically Endangered (CR) due to its restricted distribution and small population size.
