Patrones y predicciones: Un enfoque multimodal para analizar las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The article examines the increase in GHGs (CO₂, CH₄, N₂O, and fluorinated gases) and their relationship to global warming. It attributes their rise to the burning of fossil fuels, intensive agriculture, and deforestation since the Industrial Revolution. It details that CO₂, the most abundant, remains in the atmosphere for centuries, amplifying its effect; CH₄, although less concentrated, has greater warming power; N₂O, linked to fertilizers, also affects the ozone layer; and fluorinated gases, less common, have very high thermal potential. The study seeks to evaluate mitigation strategies and adapt industrial and agricultural processes to slow down the rise in temperature and its impacts. Methodologically, it combines statistical analysis and predictive modeling on historical series to project scenarios. It concludes that energy efficiency policies, the adoption of renewables, and the protection of ecosystems as carbon sinks are required, as well as international cooperation and the integration of clean technologies and agroecological practices to address climate change in a coordinated and effective manner
