Abstract: Recent advances in life sciences and biotechnology have driven a new technological revolution, positioning the biopharmaceutical industry as a global leader. However, China’s biomedical technology still lags behind international standards. To capitalize on global biotechnology opportunities and enhance competitiveness, this study employs Bayesian model averaging to account for uncertainty, predict outcomes, and identify key influencing factors. Notably, China’s biopharmaceutical industry shows significant agglomeration, but domestic industrial division of labor remains weak, highlighting the need to strengthen and optimize industrial chain coordination.
