Sex differences in performance fatigability after a maximal intermittent fatiguing protocol with a flywheel device
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Sex-based differences in performance fatigability during maximal dynamic tasks using FD have not yet been investigated. Immediately after the task, central fatigue was comparable between sexes; however, males exhibited greater deficits in contractile function. Standing out is that contractile impairment persisted in both groups at 10-min postexercise.
