Abstract: The ( R )-pyrrolidin-2-yl-substituted dehydroabietyl squaramide served as an efficient organocatalyst for the asymmetric Michael addition of cyclohexanone to β-nitrostyrenes with high yields and good to excellent stereoselectivity.
