Abstract: Most people shield similar flights of birds and airplanes, dragonflies, helicopters and hang gliders, but specialists have little interest in their serious analysis. Despite this, the work of the founders of aeronautics Nikolai Yegorovich Zhukovsky and Otto Lilienthal began precisely with the study of bird flights. More precisely, from the study of how the lifting force of the gliding wing arises. More precisely, from the study of how the lifting force of the gliding wing arises. As a result of such work in 1904, they obtained optimal profiles similar to the wings of birds.
