Abstract: It is the responsibility and mission of teachers in the new era to integrate ideological and political education with subject teaching and let ideological and political work run through the entire process of education and teaching, because the ideological and political thoughts of college students directly affect the construction and development of the entire country. This article explores how digital painting courses in colleges and universities can be integrated into ideological and political development, and is guided by the core artistic literacy, deeply explores ideological and political elements, so that the connotations of aesthetic education and ideological and political education can be integrated and expanded.
