Current Aspects of Combating Terrorism Financing in the Conditions of Russian Federation’s War Against Ukraine

Abstract: The article reveals the meaning of the concept of terrorist financing in accordance with the current national legislation, the public danger of terrorist financing, highlights its current sources and mechanisms, as well as existing problematic aspects of countering the full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, outlines ways to solve them. It was concluded that the process of identifying and stopping the functioning of sources and channels (mechanisms) of financing terrorist activities is characterized by increased complexity in the conditions of war. In order to minimize and neutralize the threats of terrorist attacks and sabotage, to stop the financial sources of terrorism, a number of measures have been proposed to increase the effectiveness of countering the financing of terrorism.
