Frolov black hole surrounded by quintessence–II: Quasinormal modes, Greybody factors, Deflection angle and Chaos bound

Abstract: In this work, we have examined the scalar quasinormal modes, greybody factors, weak gravitational lensing, and the chaos bound of a Frolov black hole surrounded by a quintessence field. We studied the quasinormal frequencies and deduced that an increase in the value of the quintessence parameter [Formula: see text] dissipates the oscillatory behavior and thus slows down the decay of perturbations. The greybody factors are dependent on the multipole moment [Formula: see text] and the BH parameters, with a larger charge parameter [Formula: see text] hindering the transmission and a smaller length scale parameter [Formula: see text] making the barrier steeper. However, the quintessence parameter does not provide a significant effect. The deflection angle of weak lensing under thin lens approximation monotonically decreases as the value of impact parameter [Formula: see text] increases, and is visibly affected by the parameter [Formula: see text], but [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] have a very minimal effect. Finally, the chaos-bound behavior of photon trajectories in the near-horizon neighborhood, indicates that it is satisfied for bigger circular photon orbits but broken for smaller ones, with high-angular-momentum photons being chaotic. The Lyapunov exponents are also directly related to the total absorption cross-section, which is also analyzed at the end.
