Abstract: The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union plays a decisive role in Hungarian labor law and labor protection, guaranteeing healthy and safe working conditions for employees. The protection of workers’ rights and the fact that the health and well-being of workers in the workplace are a priority are of paramount importance. Such conditions not only increase employee satisfaction and productivity, but also have a positive effect on employers and the economy. The establishment and maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment is in the common interest of employers and employees, which is of fundamental importance for ensuring long-term well-being at work.
