Research on the Improvement Path of Accounting Information Quality in the Context of Digital Economy

Abstract: In the current era of booming digital economy, corporate accounting practices are undergoing profound transformation from traditional manual bookkeeping to intelligent digital processing. Technologies such as cloud computing's distributed storage and big data analytics have been widely applied in financial data management. For instance, automated systems enable voucher entry and report generation, creating dual opportunities for efficiency and accuracy in improving accounting information quality. However, technological adoption also presents multiple challenges: cyber attacks may lead to financial data breaches, massive heterogeneous data increases the difficulty of information filtering, and some accountants struggle to adapt to smart systems due to insufficient technical skills. This paper thoroughly analyzes these issues and proposes solutions including building digital accounting systems, optimizing business process digitization, and cultivating interdisciplinary accounting professionals. These approaches help enterprises leverage the advantages of the digital economy to enhance accounting information quality, laying the foundation for scientific decision-making and competitiveness enhancement.
