Abstract: INTRODUCTION- Occupation greatly influences health and quality of life, with different professions posing unique risks that can lead to occupational diseases. Both modern occupational health and Ayurveda focus on disease prevention and health maintenance, emphasizing the right of workers to protection and care. Ayurveda supports this through preventive measures such as Dincharya, Vega management, Sadvritta, and Achara Rasayana, tailored to individual and occupational needs. AIMS & OBJECTIVES- To identify occupational disorders associated with various modern workplaces. To review the role of Ayurveda as a preventive measure in improving the quality of health in occupational diseases. MATERIALS AND METHODS- Different classical Ayurvedic texts, websites, journals and research articles were referred to in the above context. DISCUSSION & CONCLUSIONAyurvedic daily routines like Anjan, Nasya, Abhyanga, and Gandush help protect the five sense organs and offer adequate preventive healthcare, especially in occupational settings. These simple routines, along with awareness of Vega Dharana, Achara Rasayana, and Sadvritta, help manage occupational health risks and promote mental and physical well-being. Incorporating such holistic measures into workplaces can effectively prevent occupational diseases and enhance overall health.
