Enhanced Osteosarcoma Immunotherapy via CaCO3 Nanoparticles: Remodeling Tumor Acidic and Immune Microenvironment for Photodynamic Therapy (Adv. Healthcare Mater. 23/2024)
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Osteosarcoma Photoimmunotherapy In article 2400538, Yingqi Hua, Xuran Guo, Jing Xu, Zhengdong Cai, and co-workers design a new multicombination strategy that reprograms the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and enhances the effect of photodynamic therapy for osteosarcoma treatment. The combination of A-NPs@(SHK+Ce6) with programmed cell death protein 1 demonstrates remarkable ability in eliminating distant tumors and promoting long-term immune memory function, thereby protecting against tumor rechallenge.
