The researcher found that some of those verses do not fall under the category of abrogation - even though some scholars considered them to be included - and therefore, the disagreement amongst scholars is weak. The researcher recommends a detailed study of the verses in which abrogation took place in the matters of divorce, khul’ (divorce by abdication), Iddeh (divorce waiting period) and Nefeqeh (wife and children's financial maintenance). This will assist judges and students of knowledge to know the legal rulings people need in this important matter in life.
