Abstract: CONTACT DERMATITIS is the international journal for clinicians and other health care professionals, scientists, toxicologists, indeed all who are in terested in the many aspects of environmental and contact dermatitis.This includes both allergic and irritant types of contact dermatitis, occupational dermatitis and dermatitis arising from consumer products.The journal's sections will contain review papers, original research papers and contact points, the latter being shorter communications whose aim is to facilitate very rapid dissemination of new observations concerning contact dermatitis.An important objective of the Editorial Team and the Publisher is the rapid processing of submitted manuscripts, so that an early decision can be made on acceptance and final publication expedited by a short printing time.CONTACT DERMATITIS is divided into several sections, covering Clinical Studies, Epidemiology, Occupational Dermatology, Immunology, Molecular Aspects, and Metabolism, Toxicology, and Risk Assessment.Papers on all these topics are invited.Review articles representing state of the art analyses of any of these topics are strongly encouraged.In addition, Contact Points, a means of brief rapid communication on any of the above topics are invited.The Editor and the Publisher intend to keep the publication time at a minimum, so that the latest results within the field of environmental and occupational dermatitis are available in a very short time.Information for subscribers Contact Dermatitis is published in 2 volumes per year/ 6 issues each.
