Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of BOS Fund (School Operational Assistance Fund) allocation on reducing the student dropout rate at SMP Negeri 1 Mananggu, Boalemo Regency The study employed a quantitative approach using a causal associative research method The data consisted of primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed to students who had dropped out of SMP Negeri 1 Mananggu The sample size for this study was 55 respondents, selected using a purposive sampling technique Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression analysis with the assistance of the SPSS 21 program. The results of this study indicate a positive and significant effect of BOS Fund allocation on the reduction of the student dropout rate at SMP Negeri 1 Mananggu, therefore, the hypothesis is accepted The results show a correlation coefficient (R) value interpreted as indicating a very strong effect. The coefficient of determination (R-square) value shows that the percentage of the effect of variable X (BOS Fund Allocation) on variable Y (Reduction in Dropout Rate) is 87.2%
