Abstract: As public demand for medical services continues to rise, the number of medical buildings and patients is increasing, various equipment and medications are continuously updated, and the risk of fire is also increasing. Once a fire occurs in a hospital, it will pose a great threat to people's lives and cause wide-ranging social impact. This study combines hospital fire cases, based on relevant data from the China Fire and Rescue Year Book, to analyze the number of hospital fires and fire risk factors from 2014 to 2020, and to construct a Bayesian network model of hospital fires to calculate the probability of them occurring. Then, using the Bayesian model, sensitivity analysis of hospital fire risk factors is performed, and preventive measures are proposed for various risk factors, including strengthening maintenance and management of electrical equipment, emphasizing staff training and safety education, properly planning building layouts, and regular maintenance of fire-fighting equipment. The research results have important practical significance for reducing the risk of hospital fires and disaster losses.
