Abstract: This article explores different aspects of queer aging, understanding this term in two senses. On the one hand, queer aging can describe the vital, affective, bodily, or political processes of aging among people with sexual diversity or queerness. On the other hand, queer aging can also be understood as a critical reflection on aging, a reflection that questions the very notion of aging and even the notions of linear temporality associated with aging through a queer temporality, one that understands time differently. To do so, the article will identify different areas where queer aging has a significant and particular impact, with a special focus on bear sub-culture.
