Abstract: This article examines digital transformation in education through a systematic review of recent scientific literature. A qualitative and descriptive study was carried out, following methodological criteria of systematic reviews and applying the PRISMA protocol in indexed databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect. A total of 47 articles published between 2018 and 2024 were selected under strict inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure rigor and relevance. Findings indicate that digital transformation in education is structured around three core dimensions: technological infrastructure, pedagogical innovation, and institutional management. Opportunities were identified in personalized learning, educational equity, and the promotion of active methodologies. However, persistent challenges remain, including the digital divide, insufficient teacher competencies, and cultural or organizational resistance. The discussion emphasizes the need to integrate public policies, pedagogical innovation, and social inclusion to achieve sustainable transformation. Ultimately, this process is both a challenge and an opportunity for the future of education.
