Abstract: This is a case series of two pediatric patients with symptomatic superior mesenteric artery aneurysms. Visceral artery aneurysms are rare with an incidence of 0.1% to 2% in the general population. Pediatric visceral arterial aneurysms are even more rare. This report describes two unique cases of symptomatic pediatric superior mesenteric artery aneurysms. Both patients had congenital anomalies highlighting a potential syndromic association. The patients received autogenous conduits, which were grafted using an interrupted end-to-end technique. We believe that these grafts provide increased durability and a better fit, and that they should be considered as the conduit of choice for pediatric reconstructions.
