Abstract: The relevance of this study is driven by the increasing social and legal issue of our time – ludomania, or pathological gambling addiction, which is worsened by the improvement of digital technologies and the availability of online gambling. The aim of this article is to discuss the legal aspects of combating ludomania and the international approaches to establishing liability.
