Abstract: Socio-professional communication plays an essential role in organizational dynamics, influencing both the efficiency of interactions and the work climate. The present study investigates statistically significant differences between the communication styles used by banking professionals, depending on gender. The research was conducted on a sample of 326 participants (146 male and 180 female), analyzing the distribution of four communication styles: non-assertive, aggressive, manipulative, and assertive. The results of the Mann-Whitney U test indicate significant gender differences for aggressive, manipulative, and assertive communication styles. Male participants show a stronger tendency toward aggressive and manipulative communication, whereas female participants predominantly adopt an assertive communication style. The non-assertive style did not show significant differences between genders. Given that the score distribution did not meet normality criteria, non-parametric tests were used to validate the research hypotheses. This study highlights the existence of relevant gender differences in communication behaviors within the professional environment, with implications for leadership development strategies and the optimization of interpersonal relationships in the workplace. It provides an empirical perspective on organizational communication dynamics, emphasizing the importance of adapting communication strategies to enhance collaboration and professional effectiveness.
