Type: article
Abstract: This article seeks to reflect on the memories and emotions of anonymous Brazilians during the Covid-19 pandemic by reading texts from the exhibition “Diários da Pandemia – Um dia de cada vez”, available at the Museu da Pessoa. To this end, it addresses the issue of memory and its relationship with the internet, based on Nora (1993) and Herniques (2014). It also addresses emotions, according to theorists of the anthropology of emotions. And it discusses the new digital self writings, from the perspective of authors such as Arfuch (2010, 2014) and Lejeune (2014). Finally, based on the delimitation of a corpus, it analyzes the texts on the platform, adopting qualitative methods of artisanal research as a methodology.
