Abstract: Background: Fever is a condition that is often encountered in everyday life, everyone has experienced fever, especially children whose bodies are still susceptible to disease, one of which is dengue hemorrhagic fever (dbd). Data from Murni Teguh Hospital, Medan in medical services in April-May, cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (dBD) in 2023 will be approximately 100 hospitalized patients. Objective: to determine the comparison of the use of aloe vera compresses and warm water compresses to reduce body temperature in children with dengue hemorrhagic fever at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital. Method: This research is quantitative research with an experimental method and uses a pre-test and post-test design with two comparative treatments. This study used a population of 30 children with fever. The sample was divided into 2 groups using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using the statistical test T paired test. The probability value (p) was 0.000 and the probability showed p < 0.05. Results: Research that has been carried out shows that the average body temperature of pediatric patients with dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) after being given an aloe vera compress is 37,427 and after being given a warm water compress is 37,340. The probability value (p) is 0.000 and the probability shows p < 0.05. Conclusion: Based on the analysis of the Independent T Sample Test, the significance value after being given an aloe vera compress was 0.763 and the significance value after being given a warm water compress was 0.763, meaning > 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between aloe vera compresses and warm water compresses in reducing body temperature in pediatric patients with dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) at the Pure Solid Memorial Hospital.
