Abstract: This study aims to determine and analyse the influence of food availability, food affordability, and food consumption on the lives of people in Medan City. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, with a sample size of 100 people in Medan City. The type of research conducted was causal associative research. The data analysis method used was Partial Least Square Structure Equation Modelling using SmartPLS software. The test results indicate that the food availability variable has an effect on the lives of the community in Medan City, while the food affordability and food consumption variables have no effect on the lives of the community in Medan City. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) obtained was 26%, with the remaining 74% influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
