Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: This study examines how workload and organizational justice affect employee performance with mental health as a mediator at PT Halindo Berjaya Mandiri. Using a quantitative survey (5-point Likert) and SEM-PLS via SmartPLS, we conducted a census of 60 employees and analyzed data collected in 2025. The tested variables were workload and organizational justice (independent), mental health (mediator), and employee performance (dependent). Results show positive, significant direct effects of workload and organizational justice on performance, and on mental health; mental health also positively predicts performance and significantly mediates both relationships. The paper contributes an integrated model in an Indonesian export-industry context and implies balancing workload and fair practices to sustain mental health and enhance performance.
