Diffusive Association Kinetics Models
Year: 2025
Type: preprint
Abstract: Proposing theoretical models prior to experimental validation is a valuable scientific practice as important as summarizing experimental results for patterns, provided the models are both reasonable and testable. In this article, I introduce diffusive association collision kinetics models, which estimate the frequency of molecular encounters in dilute solutions. These models have not yet been fully validated by experimental data and may contain significant inaccuracies; therefore, they should be interpreted with caution.
