Intelligent Mobile Inspection System Supporting the Activities of Unattended Elderly Individuals

Abstract: The article presents the concept of a system supporting senior citizens who remain unattended in office or residential premises. Proposals for the functioning of the inspection system for older people were presented, with particular emphasis on the psycho-physical condition of seniors. The article presents an example of a mobile robot equipped with an Omni Wheel Mecanum wheel control and maneuvering system. The article also presents the concept of monitoring using integrated vision systems on a mobile robot and using a stationary system placed in the rooms subject to inspection. It was proposed to integrate the presented systems into one intelligent system for monitoring unattended persons.
